Young people get to work with Swindon Game Developers Evil Twin Artworks

Evil Twin have finished delivery of the video game training at Dorcan School Swindon. The game entitled Block Runner is developed entirely by the students under the tutelage of Evil Twin’s finest games developers.

“Block Runner” is now complete and available on the Scratch or Dorcan school website. In the game you play a Dorcan student who has to navigate their way around the school in order to find the way out. It is also playable below!

One of the Evil Twin Directors Mark Carroll said, “It was a pleasure working with the students, they were incredibly focused and dedicated throughout. The development had a great buzz around it and it felt like working with a team of pros!”

If you’re interested in learning how to make computer games an excellent starting point is scratch. With Scratch, you can program your own interactive stories, games, and animations — and share your creations with others in the online community. Scratch also helps young people learn to think creatively, reason systematically, and work collaboratively — essential skills for life in the 21st century. Best of all it’s free to download
