Evil Twin Artworks’ new puzzler  is set to bring a new dimension in sticky gaming fun to Apple devices later this March.

GooHoo is set in a far distant galaxy, where you play the miniature weapon fighting a war against giant killer robots. As with most robotic apocalypses, the mechanical workforce have mysteriously gone on the rampage, and its up to our sticky superhero to climb in each one and shut them down from the inside before they destroy everything in sight. GooHoo starts the game by flying across the city which is already under attack. His job is simple, fly inside 15 giant robots, 4 UFOs and 4 RoboDogs and take them out from the inside. Each Robot has several ingenious levels inside ensuring rich and varied gameplay that will keep players entertained for a long time. Goohoo’s task is made more difficult by various puzzles within each robot, as finding the way through the maze of wires is only the first step.

The platform gameplay, alongside the puzzle elements make GooHoo stick, (sorry about the pun) once you picked it is difficult to put it down! Evil Twin’s Creative Director Mark Carroll says “The Evil Twin team are big fans of giant robots in all their forms, especially when they are on a rampage. We wanted to create a game where the player controls a tiny character and must destroy robots far greater in size in the ultimate David vs Goliath conflict. GooHoo is simple to pick up but has hidden depths for those wanting to explore the dark corners of robot interiors.”
Founded by not-so-evil brothers James and Mark Carroll, Evil Twin Artworks are based in Swindon, UK. Mixing experience with talent, the company works with young developers at a grassroots level. Evil Twins help young people in the area get into the industry by inviting them to assist with the programming.

James Carroll, Evil Twins Managing Director says “We have been encouraging talent in the Swindon Area four a while now and I’m very proud of everyone who worked on this, we want to keep the business in the local area and keep nurturing the local talent, Goohoo is the first step towards that.”

The Evil Twins have recently created River Cottage Get Foraging game for Channel 4, and are currently developing Victory At Sea an epic, multi platform WW2 Naval combat game. The company has received significant investment of late and is undergoing an expansion, helping to build the profile the games industry in Swindon.

GooHoo is released on the App Store on 27th March 2014
